ILLINOIS CRITICAL SKILLS GAP SUMMIT 2.0

Andy Kirchner – President of NOTS Logistics participated in the “Illinois Critical Skills Gap Summit 2.0” hosted by South Central Illinois Growth Alliance (SCIGA) and Kaskaskia College in Centralia, IL,  where area employers, vocational and manufacturing leaders, local government officials and education leaders discussed the nationwide skilled labor gap in the vocational trades and to highlight the wages earned in the manufacturing, trades and service industries.  The event was held at the Kaskaskia College Learning Center in Centralia, IL. 

Kaskaskia College President George Evans said of the summit, “It is the goal of this group to bring awareness to those in attendance and to work together to help combat this skills gap shortage within the Kaskaskia College District and beyond.   We are going to continue to beat this drum and reiterate this message for years to come”.
