These changes have helped us reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and meet the standards of our Sustainability initiative. 

The estimated annual solar energy production across all our warehouses totals an impressive 1,061,262 kWh (or 1,061.3 MWh). According to the EPA Greenhouse Gas Calculator, this clean energy generation helps avoid 918 metric tons of CO₂ emissions each year—equivalent to eliminating the greenhouse gases produced from driving 2.34 million miles in a gas-powered vehicle. This environmental benefit is also comparable to the amount of carbon sequestered by 920 acres of U.S. forests annually, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable operations and reducing our environmental impact.

In addition, we have embraced biofuels and partnered with other companies in our industrial park to develop a recycling center. We have also swapped out all our warehouse lights for LED bulbs and are in the process of testing electric forklifts.

North Nashville Recycling Center

Launched in October 2022, NOTS partners with various tenants in our industrial park to recycle various materials, including paper, cardboard, aluminum, glass, plastics, and more. If you are located in our industrial park and would like to learn how to participate, contact us at 800-642-5436.
