NOTS Logistics sponsored the Kickin’ It for Babies Kickball Tournament benefitting March of Dimes. The tournament was on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Dellinger Park in Cartersville, Ga. NOTS Logistics also had a team play in the tournament and they won 1st place! The event raised $25,900 for March of Dimes.

For 80 years, March of Dimes has helped millions of babies survive, supporting mothers throughout their pregnancies and advocating for policies that prioritize their health. The third-party logistics provider has been a longstanding supporter of March of Dimes over the past 10 years at their Georgia location, as well as their Nashville, Ill. and Henderson, Ky. locations.

The 2019 March of Dimes’ Northwest Georgia Mountains Ambassador Family is the Hill’s. David Hill, a member of the Hill family, is one of NOTS Logistics’ full-time material handlers and tugger drivers. A few years ago, his family lost one of their premature twins in the NICU. David shared his family’s story and experience with March of Dimes at the kickball event.

“In past years, NOTS Logistics has participated in the Walk for Babies. This year’s kickball event was a change of pace and was well received in Bartow County,” said Kathryn McNeal, NOTS Logistics HR Manager. “This will be an annual event going forward to provide research aiding those babies born prematurely.”
