To be more sustainable and reduce our environmental impact, our company has implemented several changes.

These changes have helped us reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and meet the standards of our Sustainability initiative.

The estimated annual solar energy production across all our warehouses totals an impressive 1,061,262 kWh (or 1,061.3 MWh). According to the EPA Greenhouse Gas Calculator, this clean energy generation helps avoid 918 metric tons of CO₂ emissions each year—equivalent to eliminating the greenhouse gases produced from driving 2.34 million miles in a gas-powered vehicle. This environmental benefit is also comparable to the amount of carbon sequestered by 920 acres of U.S. forests annually, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable operations and reducing our environmental impact.

In addition, we have embraced biofuels and partnered with other companies in our industrial park to develop a recycling center. We have also swapped out all our warehouse lights for LED bulbs and are in the process of testing electric forklifts.

North Nashville Recycling

Launched in October 2022, NOTS Logistics partnered with various tenants throughout our industrial park to create a collaborative recycling program focused on reducing waste and promoting responsible resource management. Through this initiative, materials such as paper, cardboard, aluminum, glass, plastics, and more are collected and recycled rather than sent to landfills.

This program reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainability and finding practical ways to make a positive impact in the communities where we live and work. At NOTS Logistics, we believe that even small, intentional actions can create lasting change. By working together with our coworkers, customers, and community partners, we continue to seek opportunities to reduce our environmental footprint, improve efficiency, and build a cleaner future for generations to come.
