NOTS purchases lowboy trailer

NOTS Logistics recently purchased a 52 ton lowboy trailer, specific for a customer who needed a specialized solution, along with additional tarps and chains in order to properly secure their dies and molds. Some of the transits will be very short – across the parking lot from one building to another.  Other transits will be heading to and from Mt. Vernon, Illinois, roughly 30 miles from our complex.

Although the transportation runs will all be fairly short, this solution was necessary as the molds and dies not only carry a lofty price tag, but they can weigh in excess of 80,000 pounds!

It was great to work with a long-term NOTS Logistics customer so they could provide a unique service and help strengthen the partnership.
