NOT logistics donates trailer for St. Ann’s Catholic Church’s Annual Lenten Drive & Delivers Donations to Salvation Army
St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Nashville, Ill. held its Annual Lenten Drive “To Save”. The clothing donations were collected and loaded into a trailer provided by NOTS Logistics. Then, NOTS Logistics’ driver Jeff Williamson delivered them to the Salvation Army in St. Louis, Mo. on Tuesday, April 23. NOTS Logistics donated the 45-foot trailer, the truck, fuel and the time of the driver, and its employees donated items of clothing as well. The trailer was filled to the back with the donations. The Salvation Army will sort all of the items and begin to hand them out to individuals in need at its store locations and at local events. The proceeds will help fund programs in the St. Louis, Mo. area, the Metro-East region and into Southern Illinois.
“NOTS Logistics is built on a culture of caring, and that is why community involvement such as this is so important to our entire team,” said Andy Kirchner, President of NOTS Logistics. “In order for our business to be successful, we must invest in the communities that we work and live in.”
