Community Spotlight: Cookin’ on the Creek 2019

At NOTS Logistics, we make it a priority to invest in and give back to the communities in which we do business. We believe that the key to a successful business is a successful, thriving community.

NOTS Logistics was recently a sponsor of the 10^th Annual Cookin’ on the Creek Event in Cartersville, GA. On March 16, a few of the NOTS Logistics’ GA team members participated in the annual BBQ sampling event. All of the proceeds from the event were donated to The Hope Center Foundation, a local non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention, detection and compassionate treatment of cancer. Last year, the event raised nearly $45,000 for local individuals with cancer. Our team had a wonderful time enjoying live music and delicious food, and was proud to be a part of such a special event for a wonderful cause.

“We can walk the warehouse and tell employees as much as we want that we care about the community. However, it is events like Cookin’ on the Creek that benefit the Cartersville Hope Center that NOTS Logistics supports that truly exemplifies our culture of caring. Thousands from our community showed up for this annual event and all the proceeds benefited the Cancer Fighting Hope Center. NOTS was not just a Gold Level Sponsor of this wonderful event, but we also had a team of co-workers come together to compete in this BBQ cook-off,” said Nick Barnett, Assistant General Manager of NOTS Logistics.
